The Beginning of Love

Destiny's Child had just won their first BET Award for best new artist and they were really ecstatic. All during the show Bey kept noticing a guy staring at her. She was so wrapped up in the moment of winning that she didnt realize it was Jay-Z. So they kept winning awards nd kept going on stage to accept the awards. So finally the night is over and they're at the after party being thrown for them when Bey who is on the dance floor with Kelly see's Jay again who is standing in the room with another woman whispering in her ear while staring at Bey.

Bey: *To herself* Y does he keep staring at me? *Bey looks away fast before he notices*

Kelly: Bey c'mon girl dance wit me

Bey: My bad girl its jus him he keeps staring at me like he wants me or somethin

Kelly: O who him *points at Jay* girl thas

Both: 'Jay-z'

Bey: Ya I know duh,the player of the year all he does his play women and he's been starring at me all nite even at the awards when ever I would look around he was starring dead at me.

*See bacc in the day Jay had a reputation for loving then leaving the ladies*

Kelly: Well girl if he's staring then u jus keep givin him somethin to stare at you never know maybe you mite be the one to change his ways.NOW LETS DANCE!!!


Bey nd Kelly both start dancing with the crowd not stopping to notice if Jay was still staring. Finally the music slows and Bey, Kelly, Michelle are sitting down drinkin nd talkin. No one notices Jay slowly walking up to them.

Jay: Hey ladies of Destiny's Child I jus wanna say congrats this was a big night for yall, yall truly deserve it. *the entire time Jay is talkin he kept his eyes on Beyonce*

DC: *in unison* Thank You

Jay: Ur welcome

Jay leaves nd Kelly nd Michelle both yell woooooo chile

Chelle: Dang Bey he was staring at u like u were a butterball biscuit dam

Kelly: Ya ikr dang Bey wat do u do to men to have the fawning over u like that?

Bey *blushes* Yall are crazy I didnt do nothin but be myself

Chelle: Well whateva it is you got that man goin crazy

*Bey excuses herself nd goes to the bathroom Jay follows her*

Jay: Excuse Miss Beyonce but I have to tell you you are one of the most beautiful women in this room

Bey: O is that y u keep staring

Jay: Yes

*They keep talking for a few mins*

Bey: Well thank you for the compliment *walks in bathroom*

Bey takes care of her business then comes out and tells Kelly and Michelle she's ready to leave. In the car Bey relives the short convo between her and Jay nd is awfully quiet.

Kelly: Bey wats wrong

Bey: Nothin Im jus tired thas all I wanna go home take a hot bath nd go to sleep this has been a awesome day nd im tired.

Kelly: Ok girl me too

They arrive home talk for a few mins, take care of their business nd go to bed.

The next day they head out shopping nd Bey sees Jay with another woman nd gets upset cuz of all the things he said to her last nd to be out with another woman she was crushed. See Bey had jus brokin up wit her first love Lyndell nd Jay made her feel really special lastnite nd to be out with another woman was jus too much for Bey.

Bey: *to herself* Well I be damned!

Kelly: *overheard* What!

Bey: Well I didnt tell u the truth lastnite, when I went to the bathroom lastnite Jay followed nd we talked thas Y I was gone so long, he made me feel really special nd I fell for it now look he's over there buying some chick things UGH I feel like an ass.

Bey *to herself dam im glad I dont need a man to take care of me cuz im a independent woman.*

Bey storms out of the store nd Jay turns and notices her leaving

Jay: DAYUM LOOK AT THAT ASS ON BEYONCE SHE MAKES A BLIND MAN SEE AGAIN ALL THAT ASS WOOO GOTTA MAKE THAT MINE ONE DAY.

Bey goes home upset nd tells her mom what happen nd goes upstairs nd falls asleep. She wakes up with a tune in her head, starts writing and the goes to the studio nd thus 'Independent Women' is born. A few months pass and DC3 is touring all over the world with Christina Aguilera and Bey receives a phone call from Jay one nite while in NY.

Bey: Hello

Jay: Hi is this Beyonce

Bey: Yes who is this

Jay: Um Jay-z

Bey: O how did u get my number

Jay: Well I have connects

Bey: O well how may I help you


Jay: I have been thinking about you non stop since I first laid eyes on you and I want to get to know you I know that you saw me with that girl that time the day after the awards but trust me she aint nobody to me she jus used me for my money thas all.

Bey: O wow gold diggers make me sick

Jay: Hahaha ya they do but since ur in NY would it be possible for me to take you out to grab a bite to eat or somethin?

Bey: Well I am hungry and it wouldnt hurt to have some company to eat with

Jay: Ok cool I'll be there in about an hour

Bey: no problem *Bey gives Jay the address*

Jay: Ok cant wait to see your beautiful face

Bey: I'll be waiting

Bey hangs up the phone smiling extra hard and goes to tell Kelly nd Michelle the good news

Kelly: See I knew it Bey I knew it you still have feelings for him jus admit it

Bey *blushes*

Michelle: Well girl go get cleaned up aint no sense lookin around at us we dont have a man tryin to come see us.

While Bey is getting cleaned up Miss Tina walks

MT: Beyonce where are you going?

Bey: On a date with Jay-z

MT: O the one u were upset over a few months bacc

Bey: Yep thats the one he tracked me down asked me out im hungry so I said yea

MT:Well you know what I hope you think with ur head nd not with ur heart jus go eat get to know him and take ur time I dont have time to put u bacc together again from another broken heart

Bey: Yes ma'am

Bey finishes get dressed and on time too *the hotel clerk calls nd tells Bey she has a guest waiting in the lobby*

Bey: Ok im on my way down now

Kelly: And he's on time too GO BEY!!!

Bey *laughs nite yall*

Bey walks out of the elevator and doesn't spot Jay but he spotted her first 

Jay* To himself I know exactly who im goin to make Mrs. Carter*


Bey finally spots Jay

Bey: Hey ur on time Im am very pleased

Jay: Of course I'm always on time its a habit

Bey*smiles and blushes*

Jay: Shall we leave now

Bey: Sure


So they head to Jay's car and to a five star restaurant Jay is a total gentlemen and she is very impressed. All thru out dinner they talk about life the past the present and the future. They get so wrapped up in each others conversation 3 hours go bye and they are still talking.

Jay: WHOA look at the time

Bey: OMGOODNESS we've been talkin for 3 hours

Jay: I can take u bacc to the hotel if ur ready

Bey: Im not I enjoy talkin to you and I'm not sleepy actually we have the day off tomorrow so Im free all nite

Jay: Me too


So Jay nd Bey decide to walk the streets of New York Jay took Bey to Central Park and they sat and talked some more. Bey felt so comfortable like she had known him all her life and he felt the same way. He shows Bey where he grew up an where he lives now. She was amazed of the things New York had because bacc in Texas it was very different. Eventually they ended up bacc at Bey's hotel. Jay opens her door.

Bey: This has been one of the best dates ever *getting out of the car*

Jay: Yes most definitely we have to see each other again

Bey: I really cant wait


As Bey starts to walk away Jay grabs her and they kiss for a very long time and almost immediately they knew that they had both found there soul mates.
